George is a 19 year old student of Spanish & History at the University of Southampton, currently in his second year. Whilst he prepares for his year abroad in Madrid*, he writes about Films, Music, TV, and other culture “things”, occasionally makes YouTube videos, and fantasizes about ways to become more relevant. Like running for a Sabbatical Officer position in the Union elections, and losing.
His writing has been recognised by no less than The Guardian Student Media Awards, as a nominee for Student Critic Of The Year 2015. That’s nothing compared to the recognition that his karaoke rendition of “King Kunta” by Kendrick Lamar received.
George Seabrook doesn’t usually write in the third-person. Also he hasn’t lived enough of a life to write more, demonstrably true and justifiable statements, about himself. But he’s working on it.
